Because of this my daily pictures and weekly blog posts have been neglected. But even with all our craziness, we still have had some good times.
On August 18, Aaron was in charge of the activity for the youth in our church. After much preparation (and our family ending up with 5 new tubes), Kaden and Aaron had a great evening floating the Truckee River.
On August 21, Aaron and Trevor flew out to Utah for the home inspection. While they were there they got to meet Jordan and Luci's brand new baby, Justin. They also got to hang out with Rachel and Maddax.
While they were gone, we had some fun of our own. We had a great day with some dear friends at our water park. Aaron had the camera with him, so I didn't get any pictures.
August 27, Saturday, TREVOR'S BIRTHDAY
We started out the day with the traditional HUGE breakfast that only Aaron can make. And then some gift opening. Trevor was a happy boy!
Later that evening we went to dinner at Trev's favorite restaurant, "Outback Steakhouse." We then went to the Coconut Bowl for mini golfing, the laser maze and go-karts.
We then came back home for Trevor's favorite cake.
Trev, we love you so much and are so glad that you are part of our family. You make us smile every day! Happy Birthday!
August, 28
We had Sunday dinner with some of our amazing friends. The food was amazing and so was the company. The kids had an especially great time because we came home with these.
After we got home that evening Aaron gave all the boys Father's Blessings to help them as they start the new school year out. Each blessing was so special and I hope that the boys each felt how much they are loved.
August, 29 - FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
Luke doesn't really have school yet, but he sure thought he was going. Somehow, in our crazy morning rush I didn't get a picture of Kaden before dropping him off at 7 am. So his picture is as he was just coming home from his first day.
We got to dogsit the cutest little dog for a family in our ward. Luke especially loved to walk over to "Tootsie's" a couple of times a day to play with her.
Labor Day Weekend
Our family drove to Utah so we could attend baby Justin's blessing. We had an absolute BLAST with so much family! Ben and Kat gave Kaden a slack line, which was a huge hit with the kids.
Of course, the blessing was so special. Thanks Jordan and Luci for EVERYTHING!!!
Last week Kaden had an ortho appointment. Aaron was so sweet to me and offered to work from home and watch Luke while I took Kaden. It was so nice not to have to entertain Luke at the appointment. Then when I got home I realized that I was the one who was missing out on all the fun.
Recently Luke has been asking to do his "HUGE" train set. Finally yesterday I gave in.
Last night was also our elementary school's big fundraiser for the year. We had a great time eating spaghetti, playing carnival games and getting our faces painted. It was very crowded, but the kids had a great time.
Well, that's my update for this week. Hopefully, we will find out soon if this house is going to work out.

The baby is darling - glad you got to be there for the blessing. All the best in looking for a home - I know how stressful that can be.
Let us know when you're settled - would love to have you guys over for a BBQ.
