Grandma, we LOVE you!!!

One year ago on Friday, Aaron's mother passed away from pancreatic cancer. We have been thinking about her a lot recently and really missing her. But we also want to celebrate her because she gave each of us so much. We feel very blessed that each of our kids got to know her and Kaden, Ethan, and Trevor all have very special memories of the fantastic grandma that she was. They remember the packages full of candy and goodies that she sent for EVERY holiday! They remember having fun helping her in the kitchen, especially making cookies. They remember her big hugs every time we came to visit, and her tears when we had to leave. They knew that grandma would give them anything that they wanted. And most of all, they remember that she loved them!!!

Keeping our tradition alive, we sent more balloons to our loved Grandma up in Heaven. Aaron had the great idea of attaching glow sticks to the balloons so that we could see them in the night sky. It was an amazing experience as we watched the glow float across the sky until it got smaller and smaller. Soon it looked like a star moving across the sky and then disappeared.
